Commercial Lead – Heparin

ROVI is looking for a highly motivated, hard‑working, customer‑focused individual to lead the commercial presence of ROVI’s heparin franchise (enoxaparin and heparin sodium).

The Commercial Lead will drive growth in both the NHS through tenders and the private sector, and will work closely with other company departments such as Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain.

  • Functions and Responsibilities
  • Commercial Responsibilities (NHS interaction)
  • Interaction with the Medicines Procurement and Supply Chain (MPSC) stakeholders responsible for publishing tenders and frameworks.
  • Identification of tenders at UK level (England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland).
  • Preparation and submission of bids and related tender documentation.
  • Engagement with key stakeholders across NHS Trusts (hospital pharmacists, procurement committees, scientific committees, etc.).
  • Reporting activities in the CRM system.
  • Commercial Responsibilities (Private sector)
  • Identification of new accounts.
  • Outreach and relationship building with potential clients.
  • Client visits and presentation of commercial proposals.
  • Operational Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with our warehouse and wholesalers to ensure proper supply of our medicines.
  • Close coordination with the sales force effectiveness team to share market insights impacting product forecasting.
  • Interaction with DHSC and Rovi’s Finance Department to prepare and submit VPAG reports.
  • Coordination
  • Act as the local point of contact responsible for coordinating communication flows between Headquarters and UK‑based consultants/vendors supporting areas such as Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and Tender Management.
  • Profile Required for the Job Position
  • Pharmacy or science‑related qualifications are mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience interacting with MPSC stakeholders responsible for NHS tenders and frameworks.
  • Good understanding of the UK pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement and tender processes.
  • Solid understanding of how a business operates and financial planning.
