Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.
Mission: Analyze and control industrial performance, manufacturing costs and operational expenditures, providing reliable information, reports, dashboards and business insights to support management decision-making. Collaborate with Industrial, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance teams to improve profitability, ensure costing accuracy and promote operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of industrial costing models, validating standard costs, actual costs and manufacturing cost allocations;
- Monitor and analyze industrial cost variances;
- Prepare and analyze reports and KPIs related to manufacturing performance, industrial costs, productivity, waste, inventory valuation and operational efficiency;
- Participate in the annual budget, forecast and strategic plan processes for the industrial area, collecting, validating and consolidating information from the different stakeholders;
- Monitor and control industrial expenses, ensuring compliance with budget targets and identifying opportunities for cost optimization;
- Support month-end closing activities related to industrial controlling, inventory valuation and cost accounting processes;
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools to provide accurate and timely management information;
- Ensure the consistency, quality and accuracy of industrial data across SAP and reporting systems;
- Collaborate closely with Industrial, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance teams to support decision-making and improve business performance;
- Participate in continuous improvement, digitalization and process optimization initiatives within the industrial area;
- Support internal and external audits, providing the required analysis and documentation related to costing and industrial controls;
- Review and update procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and best industrial controlling practices.
The talent we are looking for:
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Finance or similar;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Controlling, Cost Accounting or Business Analysis roles;
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Costing and Management Accounting;
- Knowledge of SAP (plus);
- English (mandatory) and Spanish (plus);
- Advanced Excel;
- Knowledge of PowerBI (e.g. building reports) and SQL (plus).
