A Cumbernauld based company who design and manufacture bottling and packaging equipment are looking to recruit a Workshop Machinist. The role would involve using manual lathes, drilling, tapping and assembly of components. A recognised mechanical apprenticeship would be key to success in the role.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm. Overtime required when busy.
Annual salary: £32,000
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manual machine tool operation (machining on lathes and mills)
- Component assembly using hand tooling and working from 2D CAD drawings
- Operational experience of CNC machines (beneficial)
The successful individual will work to the highest Health and Safety standards.
