Overview
We\\u2019re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Fresh Wash Plant Team Leader to head up our dedicated team at our wash plant. In this role, you\\u2019ll be the heart of our wash plant operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while promoting a positive work atmosphere. Your leadership will not only help us deliver fresh potatoes to our customers but also inspire your team to perform at their best every day.
Hours
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8.30-16.30 with 30 minute overtime for set up & every 3rd Saturday as per rota.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a fantastic team of wash plant operatives, fostering a cooperative and friendly environment.
- Oversee the washing process, ensuring that our potatoes are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Encourage best practices in quality control and safety, ensuring everyone feels safe and valued.
- Communicate openly with your team and management, sharing ideas to improve operations and enhance teamwork.
- Be hands-on, helping with day-to-day tasks while guiding and mentoring your team.
- Keep track of production statistics and assist in managing schedules to meet our targets.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within food production or a similar environment.
- A passion for working with people and leading teams we value a friendly and supportive approach!
- Knowledge of wash plant operations and strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
- Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward challenges.
