Social Support Worker
Reports to: Service Manager

Role Purpose:
Provide high-quality care to support service users’ independence, well-being, and daily living, in line with Health and Social Care Standards.

Key Duties:

Offer emotional, practical, and personal care (e.g. meal prep, shopping, household tasks, medication support).

Encourage healthy routines, hobbies, and social engagement.

Adapt communication to meet individual needs.

Maintain dignity, respect, and confidentiality.

Keep accurate records and report incidents promptly.

Follow health, safety, and company policies.

Work flexibly as part of a supportive team.

Requirements:

Care experience preferred.

Good communication and time management.

Honest, reliable, empathetic, and professional.

Able to follow procedures, uphold care standards, and act as a role model.
