Working in the Care Sector offers security and a sense of achievement that cannot easily be found in other jobs. We provide care services to older vulnerable people who depend on our support to enable them to remain in their own homes as long as possible. Some need help with washing and dressing, some need help with meals and medication and some just need companionship.
You will assist with everyday tasks which most people do naturally. Our service users love their carers and our carers know that their support is valued and appreciated. You will be required to provide a high standard of care to vulnerable older people in their own homes and daily tasks will expect you to:
- Promote independence and choice
- Ensure health and wellbeing
- Follow SSSC code of practice and HRM policies and procedures
- Assist with washing, dressing and toilet
- Prepare meals
- Assist with light housework tasks
Qualifications or experience are not required as we provide a free fully comprehensive assessment programme. All we look for are people who genuinely care about the health and well being of others and give their best. Why not let us show you how fantastic supporting others can be.
We are actively seeking people who already know how rewarding working in the care sector can be as well as others keen on trying it for themselves. We have full time and part time opportunities in all areas of Coatbridge, Airdrie, Bellshill, Viewpark, and Wishaw. We also have bank working opportunities for people who can commit to two weekends per month. Whilst experience is not essential, you must have an acceptable standard of English. We prefer drivers with a car, however we can sometimes accommodate non-drivers.
Main Work Pattern: We offer a main work pattern which is based on a rolling shift pattern of 7 days per fortnight e.g. Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday.
