Counterbalance FLT Driver
Location: Wardpark South, North Lanarkshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 - 14:00 (Week 1)
- 14:00 - 22:00 (Week 2)
- Alternating weekly rotation
Pay Rate
£13.20 per hour
Additional £0.50 per hour attendance bonus payable for completing a full bonus period without any absences (typically every 4 to 5 weeks)
About the Role
A manufacturing company based in Wardpark South is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join their team with an immediate start available. This is a full-time position working within a busy production and warehouse environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a counterbalance forklift truck, ensuring the efficient movement of materials and finished products throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Moving stock and materials across the warehouse and production areas.
- Supporting production operations as required.
- Carrying out daily equipment checks.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence/certificate.
- Previous FLT experience beneficial but not essential.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, punctual and dependable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety standards.
