We are currently recruiting for a Security Operative to join our team at the shopping centre in Cumbernauld. We are looking for a professional, reliable and customer-focused individual who can help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, staff and retailers within the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a visible and professional security presence throughout the shopping centre.
- Monitoring and patrolling the premises to identify and prevent security risks.
- Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Monitoring CCTV and maintaining awareness of activity across the centre.
- Assisting with the prevention and detection of theft, anti-social behaviour and other incidents.
- Completing accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
- Liaising professionally with centre management, retailers, emergency services and members of the public.
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
- Carrying out other reasonable security duties as required.
Requirements
- A valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
- A valid SIA CCTV licence.
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and approach.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
