About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join a busy and professional logistics operation based in Cumbernauld. This role involves trunking goods across a national distribution network, including supplier collections and depot deliveries, ensuring products are transported safely and efficiently between sites. Drivers will benefit from reliable hours, fixed rest days, modern vehicles, and a supportive working environment with ongoing training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out trunking operations between depots and distribution centres
- Complete supplier collections and depot deliveries safely and efficiently
- Ensure all vehicle checks and legal compliance requirements are met
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Follow all transport, health & safety, and driving regulations
- Support yard shunting duties where required
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points with no DD/DR endorsements
- Driver CPC qualification with at least 3 modules completed
- Comfortable with manual handling and multi‑drop deliveries
- Good communication and time management skills
- Stable, ongoing work with fixed rest days
