About the Role

A well-established fabrication and manufacturing company is looking to recruit an experienced

Welder to join its busy workshop team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welded fabrications while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out

MIG welding to a high standard.

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components from engineering drawings.
  • Prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working area.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures.

  • 18 years or over
  • Proven
  • MIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Strong practical skills and workshop experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant welding qualifications or certifications.
  • Experience working with a range of materials and fabrication techniques.
