We are seeking a trustworthy and hard-working Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Airdrie town centre. This role involves helping with food preparation, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and serving customers when needed. You’ll play an important part in making sure everything runs smoothly day to day.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and cutting salads, toppings, and other food items
- Assisting with basic food prep and cooking tasks as required
- Keeping the kitchen, work areas, and equipment clean and hygienic
- Serving customers in a friendly manner
- Handling cash and operating the till accurately
- Supporting the team in a fast-paced catering environment
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or customer service role is helpful but not essential
- Trustworthy and reliable with good attention to detail
- Able to work well as part of a team in a busy setting
- Willingness to learn and help wherever needed
- Awareness of food hygiene and safety standards preferred
Part-time and full-time hours available (up to 40 hours per week). Flexible working times available. Pay at national minimum wage.
