A Motherwell based company who are a Miller and UK Contract packer of Dried Pulses, Cereals, Pasta, Rice, Pulses and Rice and Corn Flours supplying UK foodservice, retail, and manufacturing markets are looking to add an Administration Assistant to their busy team. The successful candidate will be offered a full time 39 hours per week permanent contract, with an hourly rate of Β£13.45.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support within a busy office environment.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, including documents, sales orders, and haulier invoices.
- Prepare and send documentation to customers in a timely manner.
- Handle incoming phone calls, responding to enquiries and directing calls as appropriate.
- Coordinate and book customer deliveries efficiently.
- Manage pallet counts for both internal records and external hauliers.
- Arrange haulier collections and update relevant haulier portals with accurate shipment information.
- Liaise with haulier customer service teams to resolve delivery issues, order discrepancies, and general enquiries.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong general computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative.
