Job Overview
We are now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Dayshift & Nightshift Care Workers for our Care Home, located in East Kilbride. With us you are more than a care worker. You are a valued member of our longstanding team that makes the world of difference to the lives of the individuals we care for.
Key Tasks
- Providing personal care and support to residents
- Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
- Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
- To look after the emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a person-centered approach
- To offer care that is based on dignity, compassion wellbeing and responsiveness to their changing needs
- To physically assist clients and help them where required
- To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends and other stakeholders
