Job Overview

Bespoke furniture fitters based in East Kilbride are looking for a motivated and reliable Installation trainee to join their team. This role offers hands‑on experience learning how to install bedroom furniture in domestic properties. You will be part of a team providing a made to measure high quality service supplying and installing bedroom and home office furniture, designed to fit perfectly even if the room has awkward corners or sloping ceilings. Working on new build sites most of the time throughout the country. Most of your training is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands‑on experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the installation of fitted bedroom furniture and sliding wardrobes
  • Supporting senior installers with measuring, fitting, and assembling units
  • Handling and preparing materials, tools, and equipment safely
  • Safeguarding all tools at all times and ensuring they are used correctly and responsibly
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe during and after installations
  • Helping with deliveries, loading, and unloading materials
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Treating customers, colleagues, and properties with respect
