Job Overview
Working in the Care Sector offers security and a sense of achievement that cannot easily be found in other jobs.
This agency provides care services to older vulnerable people who depend on support to enable them to remain in their own homes as long as possible. Some need assistance with washing and dressing, some need help with meals and medication and some just need companionship.
You will assist with everyday tasks which most people do naturally.
Service users love their carers and the carers know that their support is valued and appreciated.
Hours will be: a main work pattern which is based on a rolling shift pattern of 7 days per fortnight e.g.
Week 1 Monday Thursday Friday
Week 2 Tuesday Wednesday Saturday Sunday

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Tasks
- You will be required to provide a high standard of care to vulnerable older people in their own homes and daily tasks which will include:
- promote independence and choice
- ensure health and wellbeing
- follow SSSC code of practice and Agency policies and procedures
- assist with washing, dressing and toilet
- prepare meals
- prompt medication
- assist with light housework tasks

- Qualifications or experience are not required as we provide a free fully comprehensive assessment programme.
- All we look for, are people who genuinely care about the health and wellbeing of others and give their best.
Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Require
- You must have an acceptable standard of English. We prefer drivers with a car, however we can sometimes accommodate non drivers.
