Family run pharmacy based in Rutherglen has an excellent opportunity to join a department that is fast-paced and forward-thinking, focusing on new medication breakthroughs with both NHS and private sectors. Their private department is situated upstairs in their Rutherglen Branch where they are looking for a full-time Staff Member.
Working hours will be:
- Monday to Friday 9.00 till 5.30pm
- Wednesday which will be half day 9.00 till 1.00pm
- 1 Saturday in 4
Monthly bonus once 3-month probation completed.
You will be joining a well-established family-run independent pharmacy chain with over 45 years in the industry. They are about to start work on their first clinic and are excited to bring new services for clients with Potts, MCAS, fibromyalgia, Long Covid, and many more ailments.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working in a fast-paced dispensing department posting private prescriptions worldwide.
- Receiving prescriptions from private clinics, patients, and prescribers.
- Making and receiving phone calls.
- Organising clinics for the week ahead for prescribers.
- Adding on evidence and ensuring everything is ready for daily appointments.
- Making up the LDN orders that have come through the portal and sending down prescriptions to the pharmacy downstairs to be dispensed.
- Answering and dealing with telephone calls, up to 100 calls per day.
Employer Expectations:
- Must be confident in using computers.
- Manual work so candidates should be physically fit.
- You must have experience answering phones and possess a good telephone manner.
