Main Duties & Responsibilities:

In your first year, you’ll gain a strong foundation in the practical skills you need to work on our products within our Lanark factory, you will then commence training with EKGTA in East Kilbride. Along the way, you’ll work towards completing your Apprenticeship framework.

Employer Expectations:

Our apprentices need to be passionate about manufacturing engineering. So, you should be analytical, motivated and most importantly, endlessly curious about how things are made. Numeracy is important, and you should be a great team player. You’ll have to learn fast and have the discipline to balance studying for a qualification with the demands of your role.

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required:

Ideally you will have three National 5 Grades (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language, plus either Engineering, Design & Technology or Science (excluding Biology), all at grade C or above (obtained or predicted), but other qualifications will be considered.
