Busy Deli based in East Kilbride are seeking a hardworking Breakfast/Lunch Cook to join their friendly team. You will work 3 or 4 days out of 6 from 7.30am till 3pm to provide a fast, friendly and efficient level of customer service.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in the development and planning of menus
- Ensure that all food preparation and cooking procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Employer Expectations:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
