Job Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver to join a well-established roofing specialist based in Uddingston. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent hours and long term stability. (Company will put you through your HIAB if you don’t have it).
Full time hours are Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm, Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB grab
- Delivering roofing materials to various sites
- Assisting with loading/unloading when required
- Completing deliveries safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance
Employer Expectations:
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- HIAB certification preferred but not essential
- If you only hold a Class 2 licence, the company will put you through your HIAB qualification
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience preferred but newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply
