Job Overview

Due to Contract Expansion out client is seeking 2 experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join their dynamic team.

This position is 4 x nights per week Wed, Thurs, Sat and Sun and you will be working as a two-man team .

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Key Tasks

  • Assisting with unload of 2 -3 trailers nightly including handball.
  • Assisting with loading your delivery vehicle.
  • Securely opening and closing customer premises as part of a two-man team.
  • Delivering and collecting any returns required via Tail Lift & pallet truck.
  • Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
  • Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
  • Report any non-conformities or near misses to your line manager promptly.
  • Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of goods during transit and delivery.
