Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join their dynamic team. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time holiday cover position, Monday to Friday, so location and double/single man will vary from week to week.
Trunk locations and start times:
- Double Man (5pm or 6pm start) - Hinckley
- Single Man (5.30pm or 6.30pm start) – Rochdale
- Single Man (6pm start) – Bradford
- Single Man (8pm start) – Cairnryan
- Single Man (7pm start) – Lymm Changeover
Rates of Pay:
- Double Man Trunk – £201.95 per shift (£1009.75 weekly)
- Single Man Trunks – £163.56 per shift (£817.80 weekly)

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Tasks:
- Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
- Using handheld/PDA to accurately record data.
- Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Report any non-conformities or near misses to your line manager promptly.
