Complex Care Assistant β Brain Injury Support (Adolescent Client)
Location: Liverpool
Pay Rate: Up to Β£16 per hour (including holiday pay)
Shift: Every Saturday, 09:30β18:30

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a young person in Liverpool who is living with a brain injury. This is a 1-2-1 role in the client\βs own home and out in the community, supporting them to live as full and independent a life as possible.
This is a set weekly commitment β one shift every Saturday from 09:30 to 18:30.
What You\βll Be Doing
- Providing dedicated 1-2-1 support to a young person with an acquired brain injury
- Supporting with personal care, daily routines, and clinical needs as outlined in the care plan
- Driving the client to activities and appointments, supporting them to access the community safely
- Monitoring and responding to changes in the client\βs condition
- Following detailed care plans created by our clinical team
- Building a consistent, trusting relationship with the client and their family
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
What We\βre Looking For
Essential:
- Extensive experience supporting individuals with brain injuries β this is a specialist role and we need someone who understands the complexities involved
- Female (genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010)
- A full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work β you will be driving the client
- The right to work in the UK without needing employer support
- Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
- Reliable, patient, and able to commit to every Saturday
- A warm, engaging approach β this is about supporting a young person\βs quality of life, not just meeting clinical needs
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
- Experience working with adolescents with neurological conditions
- Understanding of rehabilitation and neuro-behavioural support
