We are a trusted provider of data center network solutions and IT services. We are currently looking for CASUAL On-Call Data Center Technicians to join us. If you are an experienced technician seeking flexible, intermittent work in equipment management and hands-on technical support, we'd like to hear from you.

Job Summary: As an On-Call Data Center and IT Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, providing essential support for data center and small to medium business operations on behalf of our clients. You will work on an on-call basis, assisting with equipment storage, staging, hardware deliveries, replacements, network changes, basic IT support, and troubleshooting as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-call availability to respond to equipment staging and delivery requests.
  • Safely and securely store and stage IT hardware and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of hardware to client sites.
  • Perform hardware replacements and upgrades in data center environments.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faulty equipment to minimize downtime with remote support.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in data center operations via our training.
  • Work with our remote support team members to ensure efficient and effective support.

Requirements:

  • Basic experience as a Data Center Technician or in IT roles.
  • Decent knowledge of data center equipment, IT hardware, and associated technologies.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills are key.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules.
  • Physical fitness to handle equipment and perform tasks within data center environments.

Competitive compensation on an hourly basis for on-call work, between $50-$90 per hour with a minimum call-out charge. Compensation includes travel expenses, parking, etc. Opportunity to gain experience in a large variety of networking and IT operations. Training and support from our experienced team. Exposure to a variety of data center technologies and equipment.
