The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 £ per year.

To provide a quality service to existing Personal Lines clients, covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements; to advise, arrange and secure the appropriate cover at a competitive premium. You will be dealing with clients directly, via the telephone or email. To be aware of market developments in your business areas and bring them to the attention of clients and colleagues, where appropriate. To carry out all business activity strictly within the rules and requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority and to be aware of and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory environment as it applies to your work.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of Acturis would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of agreed Personal Lines insurance classes such as private car, household and travel including current market conditions
  • Knowledge and understanding of FCA rules and guidelines relating to consumers
  • Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of insurance and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internal and externally
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues when appropriate
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with customers & insurers
  • Ability to construct effective written communications, including letters and reports
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines & diary are adhered to
  • Computer literate including use of Microsoft Windows Programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
