Job Description
Route 1 are currently working with a leading chilled food and drinks 3pl distributer in Middleton. Due to growth and securing new contracts we are now looking to grow our driving team, both temporary and permanent roles are available.
All HGV Class 1 work is Trunking to RDC's with no Handballing. Fixed shift patterns available on guaranteed rotas. This inongoing, long term work with temp to perm opportunities for C&E drivers. This is good, clean work with a new fleet of vehicles.
Offering a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with days and nights available (6am – 6pm starts),allblock-booked weekly with long-term opportunities. Other shift patterns also available.
What We Offer:
Day Rate:£18.15 per hour
Night Rate:£19.27 per hour
Saturday Rate:£20.39 per hour
Sunday Rate:£21.51 per hour
(All pay quoted is inclusive of holiday pay, however paye option are available)
Earning potential over £1,000 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive HGV Class 1 vehicles and complete deliveries within specified time frames.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Complete daily checklists and paperwork as required.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience (essential).
- A valid HGV C&E Class 1 license with no more than 6 points.
- A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
