We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our friendly team in Lesmahagow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
As a Catering Assistant, you will:
- Food Preparation: You will start by supporting the team on the salad bar, preparing fresh ingredients and learning the ropes. As your confidence and skills grow, you will move on to assisting with the griddle and serving areas, helping to prepare hot meals and support service during busy periods.
- Daily Prep Tasks: You will help with prepping vegetables, making soups, and ensuring the salad bar is fully stocked and beautifully presented.
- Kitchen Operations: You will be part of a fast-paced kitchen that serves around 300 covers a day, so teamwork and communication are key. You will work closely with chefs and other team members to keep everything flowing smoothly.
