Overview: Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality furniture, are currently seeking Furniture Assemblers to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in furniture assembly or working in a production environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble furniture units according to specifications
- Use a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow assembly instructions to ensure precise assembly
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Report any deviations or issues in the assembly process to team leaders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
- Work independently and alongside team members to meet daily production targets
- Follow all site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in furniture assembly is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret engineering or technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and related assembly equipment
