Our client is a fully accredited supplier of pork and bacon goods and they are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious Maintenance Engineers to become part of their ever expanding team.

Duties:

  • Effectively performing electrical and mechanical maintenance of all processes
  • Sticking to time schedules
  • Hand over work efficiently
  • Offering advice, arranging and supporting in all aspects of HR whilst maintaining consistency and working in accordance with company procedures, legislation and best practice
  • Focus on production start-up and continuous support production throughout the course of the various shifts
  • Developing continuous improvements, leading/facilitating
  • Timely delivery of reactive/planned engineering maintenance across all sectors
  • Identification and implementation of improvement ideas
  • Working to KPI’s
  • Working on machinery/equipment such as: Industrial microwaves, gas ovens, high voltage transformers, blast freezers, slicers, hydraulic meat presses, multi-head check weighers, sealers, multivac wrapping machines, metal detectors, refrigeration plant (Ammonia/glycol)

Location: Lodge farm industrial estate (Easily commutable on public transport)

Shifts: 12 hour shifts 4 days on, 4 days off and will rotate between 5AM-5PM, 6AM-6PM and 10AM-10PM.

  • Skills in both electrical and Mechanical work
  • Workshop Skills
  • Ability to find fault and rectify it
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Can work to health and safety legislations
  • Experience with microwaves and gas ovens
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
