Roundwood, located in the scenic Wensum Valley, is an exclusive venue known for hosting memorable events, including weddings, parties, conferences, and corporate gatherings. We offer customized experiences suited to each occasion, catering to both intimate and large groups. Our venue features a welcoming on‑site café, open daily, as well as the serene Dell campsite. Roundwood is also home to the Roundwood Bowls Club, and we take pride in creating exceptional experiences for all who visit.
We are looking to expand our bar team for 2026 by recruiting an experienced member of bar staff on a part‑time basis. This role is for 12–18 hours per week, with regular shifts on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional hours to cover holidays and events, so flexibility is important. You’ll be joining a small, friendly and dedicated team who work closely together across different areas of the business.
As a member of our bar team, your responsibilities will include:
- General bar duties, including serving drinks and changing barrels
- Food service and customer care
- Washing up and cleaning
- Other duties involved in the day‑to‑day running of the venue
You will sometimes be required to work alone and will also act as a key holder for the building. We’re looking for someone who has previous experience working behind a bar and is confident serving customers. The most consistent feedback we receive from our guests is how fantastic our team is, so we’re keen to find someone who will help us continue to provide a warm, welcoming and professional service. The ideal candidate will be flexible not only in their availability but also in the range of tasks they are happy to undertake during a shift.

- Additional requirement: Due to some late finishes (up to 1 am), applicants must be able to travel to and from Roundwood independently of public transport
