Overview

To join our team maintaining and operating a fleet of agricultural equipment and an AD plant. Farm equipment includes John Deere tractors, JCBs and HGVS. We are a 5.5 MW Gas to grid and CHP plant based in Bromham, Wiltshire. Our family owned and operated plant is based on one of two dairy units within a very tidy site. The plant runs on dairy waste from the cows, energy crops including maize and whole crop rye and oats. We are working towards expansion, creating a more efficient plant and developing other projects associated with the plant in the near future.

Duties

  • Help the AD team oversee the day to day operations and maintenance of the plant.
  • Feeding the AD plant on a JCB.
  • Service and maintenance of machinery.
  • Welding and fabrication.
  • Possibility to be put on a machine in busy times on farm.
  • Working on a rota on weekends including night call.
  • Working with IT systems.

Training will be provided for the AD plant equipment. Accommodation available to the right candidate; 3 Bedroom Bungalow with Oil Fired C/H adjacent to site, close to village amenities with pubs, shop, bus and school. Salary based on experience. Job Type: Full-time. Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year. Work Location: In person.
