CNC Machinist
Shifts available:
Days (Monday to Thursday) £22 per hour
Nights (Monday to Thursday) £25 per hour
Weekends (Friday to Sunday) £27 per hour
Our client is a leading, independent manufacturer of composite and GRP products producing pattern work, tooling and final components across industry from the worlds of Formula One, automotive, engineering, marine, aerospace, rail and more.
Operating from their modern facility near Melton Mowbray, our client requires an experienced CNC Machinist to join their friendly team on 3 month ongoing contract, asap.
Key skills
- Previous 3 & 5 axis experience
- Previous experience of both Siemens & Winmax (Hurco) control systems
- Setting and operating machines.
- Machining fixtures and cradles.
- Experience of machining parts for the motorsport and automotive sectors.
- Experience of machining a wide range of metallic, polymers, composite parts.
- Be comfortable hand finishing parts and patterns in between machining operations.
- Experience of machining complex multi-part patterns and mould tools.
