I'm supporting a specialist operational excellence consultancy looking to appoint a Sales & Marketing Lead to help drive its next stage of growth. This is a high-impact role in a niche consultancy environment, focused on turning capability into pipeline—helping the business articulate its value, attract the right clients, and convert opportunities into revenue.
If you’re someone who enjoys combining marketing, messaging and commercial thinking—and seeing a direct link to results—this is a fantastic opportunity. Flexible engagement available (permanent, part-time or contract), typically around 2–3 days per week.
The role
- You will take ownership of how the business goes to market—bridging marketing activity with tangible sales outcomes.
- Working closely with leadership, you will:
- Develop and own the marketing strategy, across both digital and offline channels
- Create targeted campaigns that generate qualified leads in key sectors
- Produce compelling marketing collateral – including case studies, campaigns, pitch decks and client materials
- Support the conversion of opportunities through proposals, tenders and quotations
- Build and strengthen the consultancy’s brand positioning within its niche markets
- Manage and optimise digital marketing activity, including social media presence
- Track and analyse performance, using insight to continuously improve results
- Take ownership of the website and marketing content, ensuring consistency and impact
- Manage marketing budget and prioritise activity aligned to growth goals
This is a role where success is measured not just by activity—but by visibility, engagement and pipeline development. You will be comfortable working autonomously in a small, high-performing environment, bringing both creativity and commercial awareness.
Good communicator (internal and external)
- Good copywriting capabilities
- High level of capability on Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Graphic and video editing capability preferred
- Creation of case studies
- Development of proposals, tenders and quotes
You’ll likely be someone who:
- Understands how marketing links directly to sales outcomes
- Can work independently and bring ideas, not just deliver tasks
- Is comfortable turning complex consulting work into clear, compelling messaging
Why this role?
- Direct impact on growth and revenue
- High autonomy—scope to shape and build the function
- Opportunity to work closely with senior consultants and leadership
- Exposure to operational excellence, Lean and transformation work across sectors
If you’re looking for a role where you can own the narrative, influence growth and see tangible commercial impact, I’d love to hear from you. Apply or reach out for a confidential discussion.
