Operational Excellence Consultancy | Flexible (Perm / Part-Time / Contract)
I’m supporting a specialist operational excellence consultancy looking to appoint a Sales & Marketing Lead to help drive its next stage of growth. This is a high-impact role in a niche consultancy environment, focused on turning capability into pipeline — helping the business articulate its value, attract the right clients, and convert opportunities into revenue.
If you’re someone who enjoys combining marketing, messaging and commercial thinking—and seeing a direct link to results—this is a fantastic opportunity. Flexible engagement available (permanent, part-time or contract), typically around 2–3 days per week.
The role
- You will take ownership of how the business goes to market—bridging marketing activity with tangible sales outcomes.
- Working closely with leadership, you will:
- Develop and own the marketing strategy, across both digital and offline channels
- Create targeted campaigns that generate qualified leads in key sectors
- Produce compelling marketing collateral – including case studies, campaigns, pitch decks and client materials
- Support the conversion of opportunities through proposals, tenders and quotations
- Build and strengthen the consultancy’s brand positioning within its niche markets
- Manage and optimise digital marketing activity, including social media presence
- Track and analyse performance, using insight to continuously improve results
- Take ownership of the website and marketing content, ensuring consistency and impact
- Manage marketing budget and prioritise activity aligned to growth goals
This is a role where success is measured not just by activity—but by visibility, engagement and pipeline development. You will be comfortable working autonomously in a small, high-performing environment, bringing both creativity and commercial awareness.
You’ll likely be someone who:
- Understands how marketing links directly to sales outcomes
- Can work independently and bring ideas, not just deliver tasks
- Is comfortable turning complex consulting work into clear, compelling messaging
Why this role?
- Direct impact on growth and revenue
- High autonomy—scope to shape and build the function
- Opportunity to work closely with senior consultants and leadership
- Exposure to operational excellence, Lean and transformation work across sectors
If you’re looking for a role where you can own the narrative, influence growth and see tangible commercial impact, I’d love to hear from you. Apply or reach out for a confidential discussion.
