We are now looking for a Young People’s Platform & Community Manager to join us on a full‑time basis, working 35 hours per week, for a two year fixed‑term contract.

The Role
As our Young People’s Platform & Community Manager, you will lead engagement, safety and creative learning across the Roundhouse’s digital platform for young people. Currently in development, you’ll work closely with our creative teams, overseeing the design and delivery of digital learning content that sparks conversation and participation. You’ll be the voice and heartbeat of the platform community, shaping how young people connect, collaborate and learn in a welcoming, judgement‑free space and ensuring it is vibrant, inclusive and aligned with our creative programme. You will also oversee governance, safeguarding and insight to make sure the platform is safe, compliant, and continually improving.
Additionally, you will:
- Line‑manage the Young People’s Digital Platform Co‑ordinator
- Moderate user‑generated content and manage reporting and responses to non‑compliant activity
- Deliver regular compliance, insight and performance reporting
- Manage the platform budget, forecasting and KPIs
- Support the delivery of audience‑appropriate marketing and communications
About You
To be considered as our Young People’s Platform & Community Manager, you will need:
- Experience managing communities on private or public networks/platforms
- Experience of community platforms and content moderation
- Experience working with young people and implementing safeguarding measures
- Proficiency in digital content production workflows, IT, CMSs, and content moderation systems
- Knowledge of the current arts and cultural education environment
- An understanding of professional social networking platforms and social media management and reporting tools
- Proven skills in budget setting and financial reporting
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check or be willing to undertake one.
