About the Roundhouse
The Roundhouse is a youth charity and independent multi-arts venue based in Camden, London. We’ve spent the past 20 years shaping the UK’s cultural landscape as a home for world-class music, boundary-breaking theatre, circus, poetry and immersive installations. We’re the UK’s leading creative centre for young people, engaging more than 10,000 young people annually through our creative youth programme.
The main purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the Recording Studio area of the creative programme for 11-25-year-olds, including member hires, creative projects delivered as part of the Recording Studio programme area, and projects from other programme areas that make use of the recording studio.
Reporting to one of our Studios Technical Managers, and working alongside a second Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Liaising between studio users and engineers to arrange recording sessions.
- Coordinating and being present for the delivery of workshops focused on recording studio skills.
- Providing technical and operational assistance as part of the wider studio tech team across all of our studio spaces.
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.
About you
The successful candidate must have an understanding of both the technical and creative sides of the process of making music in a recording studio, as well as experience using one or more Digital Audio Workstations. Strong organisational and administrative skills, experience of working with young people, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are all essential.
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.

Contract & Pay
Contract: Permanent; Hours: 21 hours per week (excluding breaks); Salary: £18,862.55 per annum (£31,437.58 FTE); Application Deadline: 17th June 2026; Interviews: 01 July 2026.
