This is a site-based production role within a large, established contract manufacturing business, working in a busy sheet metal and fabrication environment. The role is focused on setting and operating press brake machinery to produce accurate folded and formed metal components. This role would suit someone with previous press brake operating or setting experience who is confident working from drawings, setting machinery, checking parts and maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment. The Role: Set and operate press brake machinery Bend and form sheet metal components to specification Read and work from engineering drawings, job sheets and production instructions Select, fit and adjust tooling and dies where required Check first-off and finished components for accuracy and quality Use measuring equipment to check dimensions, angles and tolerances Make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and production flow Work safely within a busy sheet metal manufacturing environ...
