Join the Estates Maintenance team at a leading UK university, carrying out varied planned and reactive carpentry across a landscaped, heritage-rich campus.

- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance carpentry across university buildings
- Install and repair doors, ironmongery, access control and fire-release mechanisms
- Fit kitchen units, worktops and internal joinery as required
- Support heritage-listed building works and small improvement projects
- Provide estimates, material lists and technical input to the wider team
- Join the estates on-call rota (approx. 1 in 4-5 weekends) with paid allowance + overtime
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Carpentry / Joinery (essential)
- Skilled in building fabric repairs, fixings, door sets and internal carpentry
- Competent using woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Reliable, organised and comfortable working independently on a large estate
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to join on-call rota
- Base salary £30,000-£33,000 + £2,750 on-call allowance
- Overtime available (typical additional c. £2,750 p.a.)
- 32 days' holiday incl. bank holidays
