You will maintain highly automated production equipment that manufactures packaging directly for one of the UK's most recognised beverage producers. The business is continuing to invest heavily in its people, technology and global growth, with significant expansion across North America creating genuine long-term international career opportunities. You will join a close-knit engineering team working in a modern automated manufacturing environment where engineers are encouraged to develop, take ownership and progress their careers.
The Role:
- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a modern automated manufacturing facility
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding on high-speed production equipment
- Fault finding across PLC-controlled machinery
- Working on pneumatic, hydraulic and automated manufacturing systems
- Supporting continuous improvement projects to maximise production efficiency
- Working closely with production to minimise downtime
- 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
- 12-hour shifts within a 24/7 manufacturing operation
The Person:
- Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Manufacturing, FMCG, food, beverage, plastics, packaging or automated production background
- Experience maintaining automated production machinery
- PLC fault-finding experience advantageous
- NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification desirable
