Are you an Automatic Gate Engineer looking for a local East London patch offering progression into leadership within a growing specialist business? This is an excellent opportunity for a Gate Engineer to join a small but highly successful company working mainly across East London. The role offers a local patch, long-term stability, compliance training and the opportunity to progress quickly.
This role would suit a Gate Engineer with a background in automatic gates, gate automation, access control, servicing, installation and fault finding who wants more ownership, less travelling, and a clear route to progress.
The Role:
- Install, service and maintain automatic gates and associated access control systems
- Fault find, diagnose issues and carry out effective repairs
- Work across a mainly local East London / M25 patch
- Attend sites from 8am, with flexibility on finish times once work is completed
- Complete documentation, site reports and job paperwork accurately
- Identify remedial works, upgrade opportunities and additional site requirements
- Participate in a shared call-out rota with overtime and call-out payments available
- Work Monday to Friday, contracted until 5pm, with typical earlier finishes where the work is completed
The Person:
- Automatic Gate Engineer, Gate Engineer or Gate Automation Engineer
- Background in automatic gates, access control, barriers or related entry systems
- Able to install, service, maintain and fault find on automated gate systems
- Comfortable working independently on customer sites
- Commercially aware, professional and able to identify remedial opportunities
- DHF accreditation / proof of competency required
- Looking for a local patch, autonomy and progression into senior or leadership roles
