Are you a CAD Technician or similar from a Joinery / Woodworking background, looking to join a family-run manufacturer offering clear progression into Management? This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, family-run woodworking manufacturer where you will play a key role in producing technical drawings for bespoke joinery projects, working closely with senior staff, directors, workshop teams and project teams from day one.
The company is looking for someone who wants long-term progression, technical responsibility and the chance to grow into a more senior position as the business continues to develop. The Role:
- Producing 2D CAD drawings for bespoke joinery and woodworking projects
- Creating shop drawings, manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings
- Preparing cutting lists, material schedules and production documentation
- Turning client requirements, sketches and architectural drawings into production-ready information
- Liaising with workshop, production, project and installation teams
- Working closely with directors and senior staff with progression into management
The Person:
- CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsperson, Technical Designer or similar
- Background in joinery, woodworking, furniture, cabinetry, shopfitting or commercial interiors
- Confident using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Able to produce manufacturing / production drawings
- Looking for progression into a senior technical or management role
