Are you a Coil Winder looking for a stable Monday to Thursday role (No Friday work) for an International Manufacturer known for their supportive working environment and structured pay rises as well as optional Overtime to increase earnings? This is a site-based production role within a large, established contract manufacturing business, focused on winding copper wire coils and supporting light electrical/electromechanical assembly work within a structured manufacturing environment.

This role is aimed at someone with previous coil winding experience, or a very closely related electrical assembly background involving precise winding, wiring, soldering or cable assembly work.

The Role:

  • Wind copper wire coils to specification
  • Follow job sheets, work instructions and production processes
  • Use coil winding equipment, hand tools and basic assembly equipment
  • Prepare, cut, strip, tape, insulate or finish wire and components where required
  • Carry out visual checks and basic quality checks on completed work
  • Maintain neat, accurate and consistent production standards
  • Support light electrical/electromechanical assembly tasks where required
  • Monday to Thursday only, 9 hours 45 minutes per day
  • 39-hour working week

The Person:

  • Coil Winder or similar
  • Previous coil winding experience
  • Able to follow work instructions and production processes accurately
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good hand skills and dexterity
  • Comfortable with repetitive precision assembly work
  • Reliable, careful and quality-focused
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment
