Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer from a Manufacturing environment looking to work a stable 4 day week with progression into Technical Management as the company expands its manufacturing processes? This is a site-based role within a manufacturing / production environment which involves planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and diagnostics of machinery such as press brakes, laser cutting machinery, CNC / production equipment, fabrication machinery. There is also clear scope for progression as the company continues to digitalise and improve its manufacturing processes.
The Role:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site services
- Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
- Work on press brakes, laser cutting machinery, CNC / production equipment, fabrication machinery and electrical assembly equipment
- Support machine moves, installations, equipment modifications and commissioning
- Monday to Thursday only, 9.75 hours per day
The Person:
- Multi-Skilled Engineer
- Manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance background
- Able to maintain, fault-find and repair production machinery
- Strong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Able to carry out PPMs and reactive breakdown repairs independently
- Comfortable working with production teams to reduce downtime and improve machinery reliability
- Relevant engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent in electro-mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- Open to mechanical or electrical bias, provided there is genuine hands-on multi-skilled ability
