Are you a manager from a bespoke joinery, cabinetry or similar background looking to take ownership of a growing workshop for a rapidly expanding business? This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, specialist company producing bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture, where you will play a key role in leading workshop operations, improving production processes and supporting the company's next stage of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day joinery workshop operations
  • Manage production workflow, scheduling and deadlines
  • Lead joiners, machinists, apprentices and subcontractors
  • Ensure high‑quality standards across bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD production files
  • Work closely with Directors on production planning and business growth

Person You Are

  • Background in bespoke joinery, cabinetry, fitted furniture, kitchens or furniture manufacturing
  • Previous experience as Workshop Manager, Production Manager, Workshop Supervisor or similar
  • Strong understanding of cabinet construction and workshop production
  • Able to read technical drawings, CAD files or production drawings
  • Confident managing joiners, machinists, apprentices or workshop staff
  • Organised, proactive and quality‑focused
  • Experience in CNC, edgebanding or spray finishing is an advantage
  • Looking for long‑term progression into senior leadership or director‑level responsibility
