Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer from a Production environment looking to work a stable Monday to Thursday (Days) role, for a Market leading company known for their great working environment? This is a site-based role within a manufacturing / production environment which involves planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and diagnostics of machinery such as press brakes, laser cutting machinery, CNC / production equipment, fabrication machinery.

There is also clear scope for progression as the company continues to digitalise and improve its manufacturing processes.

The Role:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site services
  • Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
  • Work on press brakes, laser cutting machinery, CNC / production equipment, fabrication machinery and electrical assembly equipment
  • Support machine moves, installations, equipment modifications and commissioning
  • Monday to Thursday only, 9.75 hours per day

The Person:

  • Multi-Skilled Engineer with a manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance background
  • Able to maintain, fault-find and repair production machinery
  • Strong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Able to carry out PPMs and reactive breakdown repairs independently
  • Comfortable working with production teams to reduce downtime and improve machinery reliability
  • Relevant engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent in electro-mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
  • Open to mechanical or electrical bias, provided there is genuine hands-on multi-skilled ability
