This is a site-based role within a busy sheet metal and fabrication manufacturing environment, setting and operating press brake machinery to produce accurate metal components. The Role:
- Set and operate press brake machinery
- Fold and form sheet metal components
- Work from engineering drawings and job sheets
- Set tooling and adjust machine settings
- Check first-off and completed parts
- Use measuring equipment to check accuracy
- Work to production and efficiency targets
- Monday to Thursday only
The Person:
- Press Brake Operator, Press Brake Setter Operator, CNC Press Brake Operator, Brake Press Operator or similar
- Previous press brake operating or setting experience
- Able to work from drawings or job sheets
- Background in sheet metal, fabrication, manufacturing or engineering
- Reliable, hands-on and quality-focused
- Candidates with wider machine setting experience may also be considered
