This Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer role is field-based, covering commercial and industrial sites across Yorkshire. The Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer will carry out planned maintenance, reactive repairs and installation of doors, shutters and access systems.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and repair of electric doors and shutters
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial sites
- Reactive fault finding and first-time fix repairs
- Installation of roller shutters, sectional doors and access systems
- Electrical wiring, commissioning and testing of control panels
- Working from technical drawings and manuals
- Covering a regional Yorkshire patch
- Updating jobs via job management system
The Person
- Background as an Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer
- Experience with roller shutters, sectional or industrial doors
- Electrical fault finding and installation experience
- Electrical qualification (18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
