Job Description
Estimator (Construction) –
£30,000 – £40,000 DOE + Fast Progression into Leadership + Award Winning Company Benefits
Cookstown, Northern Ireland
Exciting Estimator opportunity with real autonomy and fast progression route into Estimating Manager – join a growing construction office backed by a global business, where you'll take ownership of live pricing work with clear progression.
This Estimator role places you at the centre of a developing Cookstown team, pricing construction enquiries while helping shape how estimating is delivered locally. You'll work closely with project staff in a collaborative environment, building responsibility, influence, and fast progression opportunities.
Structured onboarding includes training visits to the Midlands (UK) during probation to develop full product and system knowledge.
The Role
- Produce take-offs and quotations from drawings and specifications
- Manage pricing enquiries, variations, and scope clarification
- Liaise with contractors and internal project teams
- Prepare handover packs for delivery teams
- Maintain accurate estimating pipeline and pricing records
About You
- Experience as an Estimator or Construction Estimator / Design Engineer
- Confident reading construction drawings
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced office
