Exciting Lead Estimator opportunity with real autonomy and responsibility - join a growing Cookstown office backed by a global business, where you'll take ownership of live pricing activity of exciting Structural Projects while managing a small growing design / estimating team.

This Lead Estimator role places you at the centre of a developing Cookstown team, pricing construction enquiries while supporting the day-to-day running of the estimating function. Alongside your own estimating responsibilities, you will guide team priorities and ensure enquiries are handled efficiently.

Working closely with project staff and clients, this Construction Estimator position combines hands-on estimating with leadership responsibility, offering genuine progression opportunities as the office continues to grow.

The Role
  • Produce take-offs and quotations from drawings and specifications
  • Manage pricing enquiries, variations and scope clarification
  • Liaise with contractors, customers and internal project teams
  • Prepare handover packs for delivery teams
  • Maintain accurate estimating pipeline and pricing records
  • Support coordination of estimating workloads within the team
  • Participate in team meetings reviewing enquiries, priorities and client expectations
About You
  • Experience as an Estimator, Senior Estimator or Construction Estimator / Design Engineer
  • Confident reading construction drawings and producing quotations
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and confidence communicating with customers
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced office environment
