The Role
- Producing detailed timber frame design drawings ready for production
- Interpreting client requirements during the design phase of projects
- Creating and amending technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and internal teams
- Ensuring drawings meet relevant specifications, standards and safety regulations
- Taking part in design and process reviews
- Receiving ongoing training to develop timber frame design knowledge
The Person
- Engineering / Architectural Graduate or similar
- Confident using AutoCAD
- Looking for training and development
- SketchUp experience beneficial
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving ability
- Able to read and understand engineering or technical drawings
- Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- UK driving licence and access to own transport
- Based within commuting distance of Cookstown
