Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in London for a Sales Design Consultant at Roundhouse Design. The Sales Design Consultant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving sales, understanding interior design concepts, and showcasing furniture to clients.
Role Accountabilities
- Client Consultations: Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, offering expert design advice and tailored kitchen and furniture solutions.
- Design Development: Lead the creation of stunning, functional kitchen designs, producing detailed plans and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., Vectorworks, or similar).
- Sales & Quotation: Manage the full sales process, from generating leads to closing deals, providing accurate quotes, and ensuring all details of the client’s project are captured and priced effectively.
- Project Management: Oversee the progress of client projects, from design approval through to the final installation, ensuring high standards of quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of kitchen products, materials, and trends to provide expert advice to clients and create the best solutions for their homes.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales and design process, including aftercare.
- Sales Targets: Work towards and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the business.
- Lead Generation: Build a network of clients using various lead generation techniques and sources to create sales opportunities, referrals and repeat clients.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the sales and design team, as well as with the installation team, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at trade events, shows, and client meetings, acting as an ambassador for the brand and helping to build its reputation in the marketplace.
- Administration & Reporting: Manage client records, sales documentation, and progress reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is kept within the company systems.
Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service and Sales skills
- Experience in bespoke kitchen & furniture design
- Experience in Vectorworks or similar design software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, understand and interpret client needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interior Architecture, or related field
